How to Use Linaie Laundry Sheets

A softer way to care for your laundry

Linaie luxury laundry sheets are designed to make everyday washing feel simpler, cleaner and more refined. Lightweight, mess-free and easy to use, each sheet dissolves in water to release concentrated cleaning power, leaving your laundry beautifully fresh without the bulk of traditional liquid detergent.

Created for modern soft living, Linaie laundry sheets are suitable for everyday clothing, towels, bedding and delicate home fabrics when used according to each garment’s care label.

How many sheets should you use?

For the best results, adjust the number of sheets depending on the size of your load and how heavily soiled your laundry is.

Small load:
Use half a sheet.

Regular or Large load:
Use one full sheet.

Laundry sheets are concentrated, so using more than needed does not always improve the wash and may create unnecessary excess detergent. Starting with one sheet for a standard load is usually the best approach.

How to use Linaie Laundry Sheets in the washing machine

Step 1: Sort your laundry

Separate whites, darks, colours and delicates before washing. This helps protect fabric colour, texture and overall garment quality. Delicates are best washed on a gentle cycle with cooler water.

Step 2: Place the sheet into the drum

Place the Linaie laundry sheet directly into the washing machine drum before adding your clothes. This helps the sheet dissolve evenly and distribute throughout the wash.

For front-loading machines, place the sheet at the bottom or back of the drum first, then add your laundry on top. This approach is recommended for dissolvable laundry formats to help prevent residue or streaking.

Step 3: Add your laundry

Load your clothes loosely into the drum. Avoid overfilling the machine, as laundry needs space to move for a proper clean. Overloading can reduce wash performance and stop detergent from circulating evenly.

Step 4: Select your cycle

Choose the wash cycle based on your fabrics:

Cold wash: Best for colours, delicates and everyday refreshes.
Warm wash: Ideal for regular clothing, bedding and lightly soiled laundry.
Hot wash: Suitable for whites, towels or heavily soiled items where the fabric care label allows.

Laundry sheets are designed to dissolve during the wash cycle and can be used across different wash temperatures, but always follow your garment care labels first.

Step 5: Dry with care

Once the cycle is complete, remove your laundry promptly. Air drying is best for delicate fabrics and helps extend the life of your garments, while tumble drying should be done according to the care label.

Can Linaie Laundry Sheets be used for hand washing fabrics?

Yes. For hand washing, tear a small piece of the sheet and dissolve it in a basin or sink of water before adding your garments. Gently agitate the fabric, soak if needed, then rinse thoroughly and dry as recommended on the care label. Laundry sheets can be cut or torn for smaller loads, hand washing or travel use.

Where should I place the sheet?

For the best result, we recommend placing the sheet directly into the drum rather than the detergent drawer.

If you prefer to use the detergent drawer, tear the sheet into smaller pieces first so it can dissolve more easily. For colder washes, placing the sheet directly in the drum is usually the better option.

Can I use fabric softener with Linaie Laundry Sheets?

Yes, you may use fabric softener if desired. Add it to the correct compartment of your washing machine as normal. However, Linaie laundry sheets are created to leave fabrics feeling fresh and cared for, so you may find you do not need to use additional softener with every wash.

How to store your laundry sheets

Keep your Linaie laundry sheets in a cool, dry place away from moisture, heat and direct sunlight. Always close the packaging after use. Because laundry sheets are designed to dissolve in water, keeping them dry helps preserve their quality and prevents them from sticking together.
